Adtech Engineer Intern  (Remote - US)

Wurl is seeking a motivated and talented Adtech Engineer Intern to join our dynamic engineering team. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in developing and maintaining software solutions that power our AdTech and CTV platforms. You will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to projects that impact millions of viewers.

What You'll Do

  • Assist AdTech Engineering team in managing Wurl’s high-growth ad insertion and serving infrastructure
  • Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing supply and demand connections across ad products
  • Analyze supply and demand performance with data and provide insights to internal stakeholders
  • Analyze and define business problems to provide data-driven solutions 
  • Conduct data analyses, and develop reporting and analytics strategies to enhance ad operational workflow
  • Contribute opportunity ideas based on data and insights across key projects
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and priorities across an emerging CTV ad ecosystem
  • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on progress and challenges

Qualifications

  • A student in their senior year of obtaining a Bachelor's/ or Grad Degree majoring in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, or a technology-focused field (required)
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies (how does a website work?), SQL, Google Sheets (functions: vLookup), and, data analysis (required)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Curiosity to learn and willingness to share knowledge with the team are highly valued traits 
  • Interest in advertising business and technology preferred
  • Location: US remote - MT, CT, & ET

A Plus if You Have

  • Python experience.
  • AWS experience or created a website.
  • Knowledge of streaming video formats.
  • Knowledge of Advertising infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and writing Snowflake queries.
